I have several friends with very curly hair. One of them says it only takes her 6 minutes to completely straighten it!After an hour, my hair still doesnt have that 'straightener-straight' effect. Any ideas on how people straighten it stick-straight in no time?

In order to make it stay straight, you need to buy a straightner. My best friend bought one and it makes her hair look great. It also helps maintain a salon blow dry. I'm not sure about blow drying long hair in 6 minutes...sounds suspect.

Get some gel or some hairstuff to make your house smooth. Put your hair up so only parts of your hair is down. Straighten that, put some more down, and keep working with it!!

Every morning my hair is a mass of curls!! It takes me about 20 minutes to get it properly straightened. It depends on how long ur hair is and how curly it is. Also, u can get the job done quicker with a good quality straightener.

I've heard Chi are supposed to be good in the USA
And GHD's are by far the best in the UK.
And always condition and use pre-straightening spray..

what?! i wish my hair was like that, i have really curly hair and when i straighten it, it takes an hour and then in a little bit it starts making waves at the bottom lol, but it turns out good.

Higher end straighteners, like Chi or Sedu, will do a better and faster job. You should ask your friends what brand they use. Or try turning up the heat on your iron and using a straightening product.=)

You have to use a really good straightener like Chi. I really don't think it is possible to straighten it in under 15 minutes though even with a good straightener.Maybe 20 or 25 minutes. Always remember to use a spray in heat protector every time you use a hot tool. Good luck

you wouldn't want to damage your naturally hair
i would go to a beauty salon and ask for a roller set it might take at least a little more than 15 minutes but it helps
trust me I'm am Haitian n i have long curly hair i love it but sometimes i want to straight it without damaging my hair so sometimes i go to the salon n wash and set it
or i get it blow dry ed (not often) n straighten it with a iron
it takes time but it works
