i straightened my hair and to finish put the above serum on it, can i go over it with the straightner to touch it up tomoro? or would the serum melt eith the heat or sumthing? thanks!

You can put on the serum before you straighten OR after, it doesnt matter. Actually, you should put it on before, because if not your hair will burn and trust me... it looks nasty. The serum is great either way.

do not put anything on your hair when you straighten it with a flat iron. it will damage your hair. it'll 'pop' like popcorn! use a ceramic straightener, they work really well. go to folica dot com and look up the straighteners--there you will find tips and advice with before and after pictures. flat iron your hair when it is 75 to 80 percent dry, use iron only as hot as you need to get it straight--start low and work your way to the temp that works. i use no product during or after and my hair has never looked better and it stays that way for 3 days at least--and i have naturally rotten frizzy hair---nothing worked till the ceramic flat iron i have now! if i have static i just use a tiny tiny drop of my favorite scent of fabric softener--i rub into my damp palms and smooth into the hair. it smells good and looks great.

The absolute best thing to use is a product called Straighten Out from FX Special Effects. You can get it at many stores including Walgreens, CVS, etc.

I say after straighting cause when I do it before, it doesn't come out as straight and feels alittle greasy after. Whether u use it after or before, it is damaging to your hair, I only use mine when I really need too. Good Luck
