My hair is already thick,dry,and curly. I really want to straighten it today, but I am worried that straightening and coloring it is safe to do on the same day or will it make it worse.

If you mean straighten by flat iron sure you can that's fine. However, if you mean to chemically straighten it I wouldn't do it.

no the dye produce will stain your ceramic plates on your straighteners.

well dying your hair will damage your hair any way so why not but i wouldn't recommend it.
