I JUST died my hair with Clairol Herbal Essence Fire Read #41.

It SAID after I was finished rinsing the conditioner out, I could style it.

Can I straighten it, or will it do something bad to the color like fade it early or make it splotchy?

heat does have an effect on hair...but that also means that you can't go outside either because of the sun. the heat from the curling iron has very slow effects so you won't see them for a while. i say style it and go to sallys beauty supply and find a shampoo that will hold the color in your hair so that it won't fade early...that is your best bet. i just died my hair red too...
