i've been straightening my hair every morning (with a flat iron) for the past year and i was wondering if i would be better off to permanently straighten it.

well its still not going to be perfectly straight if you get it chemically straightened, so you'll still need touchups with a flat iron. so my chocie would be hte flat iron. al you have to do is jsut use a really good heat protector!
