My curly hair?

What is something I can use on my curly hair. I have dry, long, thick curly hair. I have to go to the beauty salon every 2 weeks to get my hair straightened. But once April hits, I have to go back to my curly hair because I have to start going running. What can I do with my curly hair?

My curly hair?

the first answer suggested relaxing your hair, if you do this, make sure the person knows what they are doing, preferably a person of ethnic hair, because i got my hair relaxed for a couple of years (i have thick thich curly hair) and the hairdresser didn't know what she was doing, and used too strong of chemicals and fried my hair miserably and i now have to wait for it to grow out again

My curly hair?

you could relax it if you don't like it curly

My curly hair?

I also have long, curly hair and I swear by Sprunch, a spray by Aussie. It's super cheap and it makes your curls look ten times better than if you let them air dry. It smells great too. I highly recommend it.

My curly hair?

You could cut it really short and buy instentions(sg?) but that might be expensive

Or

You could see at any salons could peremently starighten your hair in any way and will sustain even if wet!!

My curly hair?

Go to the hairdressers and ask for ur hair to be permantly starightened. (like a perm but much better) its called yuko treatment. U dont even have to straigten ur hair. or just use moose to help the curls stay in place.

I have the same problem. I use leave in hair conditioner for dry hair. It reduces frizz, calms your hair and gives definition to curls.

My curly hair?

AUSSIE its the best!!! u should use it!!

My curly hair?

have it rebonded. it's a bit more expensive than straightening or relaxing but the result is better. hair becomes soft and silky and very easy to manage. it's definitely worth it.

My curly hair?

Use Suave Curling Mousse and LA LOOKS gel, and iron the top. If you have bangs iron them.

My curly hair?

you could get japanese hair straightening it works really well

My curly hair?

Use a good product and a good flat iron at home. It's cheaper thann going to the salon. As far as products go, Sabino Moisture block is EXCELLENT!!! (Look at any customer review, they'll tell you the same.) This stuff is a serum you work into your hair after you shampoo, and you can use it to keep curls from frizzing, straighten with a blow drier or flat iron, etc....

....But here's the thing that separates this from all the other products! It is NOT WATER SOLUBLE!!! You could go out in fog, rain showers, 100% humidity, even swimming (bonus-protects against chlorine damage) and your hair will NOT FRIZZ. I swear to god. My city is like an oven in summer from the humidity, and i've gotten caught in a few storms, and my hair never poofs at all. Ever! And this is the only thing I put into my super, super curly and frizz prone hair!

Also, it has no alchohol. And your hair always looks smooth, supple and shiny because it locks moisture into your hair. With that extra moisture, you can use a nice ceramic flat iron ( I use the FHI Platform--it's cheaper than the CHI and works much, much better ) and touch up your hair EVERY DAY with VIRTUALLY NO DAMAGE! (and if anyone's hair would be damaged by that, it's mine...i've bleached it to within an inch of it's life)

I've spent a fortune on other products to help with my frizzy hair, to straighten it, and this does cost about $20 but a little goes a looong way. I use it three times a week on my shoulder length hair and the bottle lasts me 3-4 months.

Bottom line, try it. You definately won't be dissapopinted.
