Can I dye my hair after having it chemically straightened?

I'm debating on getting my hair chemically straightened, but it strips your hair colour, which means that my currently black hair will go back to being a light brown. Is it possible to dye it after chemically straightening? thank yew xxx

I have had my hair chemically straightened and it hasn't stripped my colour. There is no change at all in the colour. If you do want to colour it afterwards though i would wait about a month and use intensive conditioners at least once a week to repair your hair. For about 4 shampoos after having my hair done it had a slight perm type burn smell to it, even though it did look and feel better.

Wait a few days, then you can. However, double processing your hair will fry it and can leave it very dry and brittle.

Chemically Straightening you hair is only for people who who have afro's and the majority of people who do it are African Americans. They have a harder time magaging their hair.

Just straighten it every day.

Becuase if you do, if you ever want curls- if you're at a party or whatnot, instead of having your hair get even curlier, your hair will go back to being straight, which is boring.

I think you're supposed to wait at least one week. After that, use a good protein shampoo to make your hair stronger. Easy Straight at Walgreens is supposed to be good.
