Should I get my hair Japanese straightened?

Here is a picture of my hair unstraightened:

Here is a picture of me several hours after straightening my hair:

There's obviously a difference because my hair is smoother in the 2nd picture, but the ends aren't straight and I hate how in the humidity it ends up looking like the first picture. I really want to do Japanese straightening. If you have the money to pay for it, is it worth it?

i think you should. you`ll be so much more relieved and you wont have to worry every single time it gets humid. go for it! plus, i dont think theres a way straightening can go wrong.

i guess it would be worth it if ur really sick of straightening your hair. i think that it would be a waste thought because your hair is already pretty straight, although it does look better straightened but i think its more worth getting a Japanese straightened perm if your hair is out of control frizzy and curly.

nooo..i personally like it a lot better unstraightened and Japanese hurts a LOT and they put this gross solution in your hair that, even when you wash it, never really goes away..

Yes, there's a difference in the second picture definitely but which type of hair straighteners do you use? There are lots of different makes and some are much better than others. Permanent hair straightening can be really damaging to the hair sometimes, especially as it's mostly used with the same lotion and ingredients that's used to perm hair. Yes, it'll leave you with straight hair but sometimes the ends will be frazzled so what's the point? You've just paid 鎷?50+ for something that has ruined your hair. You see my point? If you use a different brand of straighteners to the ones I suggest, why not go out and spend maybe 鎷?00 on one of these brands instead of getting your hair chemically straightened? Japenese?? lOL okk uhm im vietnamese n i can tell u my stick straight hair is annoying i can never do anything with it n ur hair is basically straight just brush it more as it dries so th ends dont look messy and maybe add some gel and a lil hair wax to keep th friz down

it is worth it till grows out, then you have not straight roots and straight hair... it is not permanent and will grow out and once you cut it out it is gone...In short, after 2-3 days, you will be straightening your roots
