Better ways to straighten hair?

I can't NOT straighten my hair, just because it looks really shitty if I don't. It's naturally curly, and it just does not look nice at all. If I don't straighten it it will frizz up no matter what products and just look ugly and curly.

Soooo I know that blow dryers and flat irons are bad for the hair, and I want to know what would be a better way to straighten it in which I would not cause so much damage because my hair splits easily.

Better ways to straighten hair?

Nop. I doubt theres anything that will straighten your hair without using heat ..

Get the flat iron from the malls they are in the little carts in the middle of the mall. They are expensive $150 but they are not bad for the hair and they work really well. I know you said you want straight hair but for any other people you can use them to curl hair too. It looks reallly nice.

I am currently using Herbal Essence Pin Straight hair shampoo and conditioner It works great I think that with a flat iron would work and keep you hair nice and split free. Good Luck.

Go visit your stylist %26amp; have a consultation. I can't see your hair but by your description here is my best advice as a stylist. Try getting your hair relaxed or straightened, so you don't have to spend so much time on it %26amp; damage it! It should costs between $80 %26amp; $130 depending on the length of hair %26amp; salon you go to. Use a straightening or hydrating shampoo %26amp; cond., straightening or moisturizing styling product. Blow dry hair using your hands, when almost dry use a shine spray or serum, boar bristle round brush w/metal base %26amp; smooth hair finishing with the blowdryer on cool to seal the cuticle. Spray a heat protectant on dry hair %26amp; touch up with a flat iron for a polished look. If you use a good heat protectant you won't have to repeatedly run the flat iron thru your hair.

heard of rebonding? also known as ionic straightening. It gives you poker straight hair that is sleek and shiny. And it remains so even after a shampoo. But its very costly.

Thinking of the cost of flat irons and anti frizz hair products...rebonding might well be worth it.

Better ways to straighten hair?

haha, that would be amazing.. to have straight hair without it being damages at all.. but unfortunately there is no fast way to do it. heat is the only answer.

of course straighteners and blow dryers damage your hair. but, if you buy ones from CHI.. it works really well, and doesn't damage your hair as much! make sure you always use an anti frizz spray before using any hot tool.

hope this helps you.

the best thing that you can do is to go to the salon and ask a hair expert. there are so many products today that can make your hair straighten but you are not sure if it is safe for you to use it because your hair is sensitive, better yet consult a hair expert for that matter.

Better ways to straighten hair?

either go to the hair dressers and get it chemically straightened which is about $300 and it stays in for approx 6 months or get a wet to straight hair strainer which locks in the moisture to keep your hair from splitting easily i had the same problem with my hair

Better ways to straighten hair?

buy an at home permanent straightening it might not be good but neither is straightening but you can usually get it at the drugstore i think some sell for like 30 or something but i think the only con is you have to do it every 4 to 6 months or something and its not going to be 100% straight but def maybe tone down frizz and make straightening easier touch ups here and there and your set. let me know! good luck~
