Hair Straightener Help!!!?

Hi, I am a black girl and I have naturally afro puff hair. I would like to straighten my hair from its natural state, not using a relaxer or anything like that. Could you guys give me some videos of girls with my kind of hair straightening it? If you could recommend some hair straighteners that won't damage my kind of hair and that have modern features that would be appreciated! Also pictures of girls who have straightened their hair from its natural state. Do you guys think that I could straighten my hair from its natural state and it would still look good? Please guys and gals give me lots of advice, I desperately need it! If you could also give me pictures of girls who have done this it would be grealty appreciated! Please no comments about how natural hair is beautiful, that's not what I am asking for. I really need help! Thanx, best answer will get a reward, GUARANTEED!!!

As a stylist, I have used a lot of flat irons, including Sedu, HAI, Infrashine, Chi, Paul Mitchell, Solia, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss GHD, T3, Kenta etc.

In terms of performance:

The best ones are: Sedu, Kenta, Solia, Infrashine, GHD. These are top of the line professional brands

Above average: CHI, HAI, Paul Mitchell,

Average: T3, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss

Worst: Conair, Vidal Sassoon, Revlon, Bed Head etc. These are cheap consumer brands that you will find in drugstore. If you care about your hair, do NOT buy them.

Go to target or Wal-mart and buy a Conair ceramic flat iron, I'm white, but I dye my hair a lot and my hair is really easy to damage, and the Conair ceramic flat irons work very well for me, they make my hair really soft and very straight. It's been a personal favorite for ages! I've never had a problem with them.

They're easy to use too, you just turn them on and let them heat, then clamp it on your hair and pull down, it'll take a few goes to straighten really fluffy frizzy hair, but it will work - I know many people who are black who use them as well. My best friend has super curly hair, and she uses conair ceramic flat irons as well - you'd never know she had curly hair if you'd never seen her before :]

I don't have any videos, but all you really need to do is flat iron your hair. My hair is in its natural state, I wash, condition and blow it dry then I flat iront it and it looks really nice people think my hair is chemically relaxed.

You could get a perm, but if you want something cheaper you can buy one of those kit ones, and instead of curling your hair comb it straight while it's perming. I would recommend getting it professionally done though.

Take a look at this:http://www.bosshair.com/index.asp?PageAc...

a few tips from me :condition your hair with a protein treatment always after every straightening (whenever you wash your hair it helps build the hair strands that are damage from the heat)make sure to moisturize it later cause protein treatments dry the hair.Apply a little moisturizer ,and applya quality heat protector before straightening or blodrying.I use fantasia ic heat protector serum (it somehow cause build up because of the silicone but i does a good job)then start with parting your hair, blow drying, then the flat iron(or just do it with the flat iron only for lesser heat). Some good ones are CHI,maxiglide.

Good luck!
