How to straighten hair!?

I'm asian and have some straight and some wavy hair. It's annoying so i usually tie it up in a ponytail but i don't always want a ponytail. I was suggested to straighten my hair so it wouldn't be so poofy (wavy and straight makes it even bigger with strange kinks) and annoying, but i don't know where to start. I have a pretty tight budget so i don't want to go overboard. Please help!

How to straighten hair!?

Honestly, you can get a decent straightener at Walmart that will work just fine. You could also try buying some kind of hair protector or straightening spray to hold the style.

How to straighten hair!?

i always used to tie my hair up untill i found the CHI hair straightner and it works good for all kinds of hair its 160$ but it lasts like 5 years and it keeps your hair straight for like 10 hours without getting wet

How to straighten hair!?

you need to buy a wella straighting iron

How to straighten hair!?

just because a straightener is good, doesnt mean it has to be expensive. first off, shop somewhere like walmart, where you can get the same thing for so much less. as fot the actual straightener i would reccomend something from conair, that works really well.

hope everything works out!

How to straighten hair!?

Just buy a ceramic straightener at Target or Wal-mart. They're pretty cheap, you can get one for $15 or $20.

How to straighten hair!?

very simple!blow dry it afterwashig that will make most of it straight and shiny and i use a $15 straightner by con-air.wet to str8 i think, and i take small sections at a time startin from the scalp but dont press to hard yet cuz it leaves marks on ur hair, and gradually move down that section with the straightner sqeezing tighter.do that to the peices you want to straighten the most then grab big chunks of hair and run the straightner through it a couple times...good luch girl:)

My best friend is an Asian (Korean) woman with thick wavy hair she can even wear it curly she just uses a $30 ceramic straitener and it works just fine:)

How to straighten hair!?

its always best to start with blow drying it straight first. start with damp hair not wet hair use a round brush (size of brush should depend on length of hair) and section off hair dry a little at a time starting at back of head moving towards front. try using straighting products to keep hair protected. after hair is dry if need be use a CHI flat iron to straighten. if all that still doesn't work i love pony tails!
