What straightening/frizz serum is recommended for dark brown hair that tends to look oily w/use of p

I have light/dark brown hair that looks oily if I use products in it. My hair is pretty straight, but I'm having it blow-dried out for my sister's wedding and need to keep out the frizz. What products would you recommend that would be light and nongreasy? Thanks!

I have the same problem, the product that i really have noticed doesnt get as oily is basically anything CHI brand...you have to get it somewhere like ULTA or a beauty supply type place...but it works sooooo goood! It is amazing stuff...anything by CHI i totally love. Also make sure to just put that type of product (straightening serums and such) starting down at your ends and dont put it all the way up to your roots, thats where it will get realllly oily and stuff. That is how i do it, and it is so much better that way, and sometimes if the hair near my roots and stuff is still really kinda frizzy looking, then i just use a little gel and water to kinda flatten it down a little bit, and its no where near as oily that way. Hope i was helpful! have fun at the wedding!

Look for products that advertise as 'oil free' they usually have silicone in them so a good clarifying shampoo once a week will help get rid of build up and keep your hair looking healthy and un-greasy. Frizz Serums and Straightening serums work best in SMALL doses. Depending on the length of your hair, I usually recommend a pencil-eraser sized drop rubbed between the hands then finger-combed through the hair. If your looking for a specific product I like "Biosilk" by Farouk but if you want to spend less money, Sally Beauty Supply sells a generic version that's just as good.
