Ways to straighten hair?

I want to have straight hair, its kinda think, little bit frizzy and wavy, almost with curls. I use a straightening iron every few days but it ruins my hair even though i use treatments and heat protection sprays.

I was just wondering what options I have for straightening, their cost, and their effectivness, aswell as the negative effects.

(straightening balms etc seem to have no effect)

do not use a bunch of chemicles they just ruin your hair and ultimately do not work!!!

so try this get some hair serume, like citre shine serume,rub through your hair this will make your hair extremely oily! so keep away from roots!!! then get a flat iron andrun down your hair, however im sure you have tried to do that before but not with a good iron. get a ceramic iron, the best you can get is called a chi and thats what i use, it leaves hair as straight as you can imagine and also silky!! hint;since you have thick hair use a clip and clip it up and pull down thin layers of hair at a time to straighten!

get perm solution and apply lots continually brushing with wire brush helps with extra hands keep on 3/4 time of perm u can lay head on towel brush and keep adding solution has same effect on hair as perm

from the way you described, i have the same hair type as you. every few days i straighten my hair and what i do is use a straightening CREAM not a gel or any other type, and i take a LARGE barrel curling iron and run it straight down my hair. it works better than straightening irons, my hair doesnt even get straight with a straightener. but if you run the curling iron slow you should get sleek straight hair.
