I had this exact same problem, but trust me, there is a solution.

Before I straighten my hair, I use Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray. You NEED to use this to protect your hair from the heat AND prevent frizzing %26amp; flyaways %26amp; splitends. AFTER straightening, use Tresemme AntiFrizz Secret Spray/Cream. I recommend the spray because cream tends to leave your hair feeling heavy %26amp; oily. Another choice for the spray to use after straightening is VO5 Miracle Mist. All the products I mentioned work amazing, Ive been straightening my hair every day for the last 3 years %26amp; with the help of these products my hair looks healthy %26amp; NOT FRIZZY.

The best thing to do is use a very thin oil for frizz. Something like biolage or Smooth Shine Polishing. Those work the best.

Two amazing products I have found:

Before straightening: Toni %26amp; Guy Iron-It Heat Defence spray. About 5/6pounds in Boots, but well worth it. It doesn't smell too good, but the smell fades after a while and you are left with very shiny hair. You also can use this before blow drying to protect your hair.

After-styling: John Frieda Frizz Ease Secret Weapon Flawless Finishing Creme. Costs about 4 pounds. Smells soooo good and will make your hair silky smooth and soothe the frizz. It feels like silk on your fingers, and lasts for ages as you only have to use a pea-sized amount.

try this:

dont use any heat on ur hair for as long as possible (from about 3-14 days. the longer time the better)

wash hair with shampoo as usuall on ur last day of not straightning then put conditioner on ur hair and dont rinse of.

wrap clingfilm round ur head and a warm towel.

leave for 2-4 hours (or over night for best results) and rinse of with COOL water not hot.

dry hair however you want and then use a straightning balm/cream everytime u straighten. the results should last you quite a long time depending on how frizzy ur hair gets.

after i get out of the shower, i towel dry my hair and then add some hair mousse. i usually use dove volumizing mousses but i'm pretty sure anyone will work. then i blow dry. and even thought after i'm done blowdrying it looks like POOF a big hairball, after i straighten that, i tlooks really nice. also, i can tie it up in a ponytail (even during practice) and there's barely a crease in it once i brush it out! hope this helps
